Career Center Workshops

EFSC's Career Planning and Development Center facilitates multiple workshops to meet the needs of the College's students and alumni. In the weeks before each Career Center Job Fair, our team offers topics to help participants prepare to meet potential employers, including sessions on employability skills.

We also coordinate workshops on soft skills that a student needs to be successful in college and their career, but that aren’t formally taught in most college courses. We asked thousands of students for input and used the top responses to create short, interactive workshops that allow students to leave with a usable product, such as a personalized weekly schedule or an individualized study plan of action. Topics include: Study Skills, Time Management, Organizational Skills and Etiquette in the Workplace.

EFSC Faculty: contact the Career Center to request custom classroom presentations or workshops on the following topics: Career Coach, Career Assessments/STEM Disciplines, Career Services Orientation presentation for the classroom, Employability Workshops – Resume Writing and Interview Skills, and Etiquette In The Workplace.

Current Workshop Choices

Due to Spring Term impacts related to COVID-19, all previously scheduled workshops have been canceled. Information about future events will be posted at a later date.
